once and future king
it is a beautiful day. the sun shines, a cool breeze hints that change is coming.
and change is inherently good, right? this is the consolation of a kaleidoscopic life - how the subtlest change in persepctive presents a new view that is both chaotic and novel, unfamiliar and engaging.
so here i am, 10 pounds lighter and, maybe, 10 pounds wiser. i wouldn't want to always measure my experience so tangibly. the weight i can't afford, the education i couldn't live without. do you ever feel like you're not living your life, rather, it's just a sequence of events that happen to you? and doesn't it feel good when you're ready to take the wheel again?
wake up. open your eyes. life begins again, and we're burning daylight.
