laborious relationships

long day today. have to go into work early for some kind of Labour Relations training. i can assure you that it will be every bit as exciting as it sounds. i will be happy to provide a summary later for anyone who feels that their relations with labour could be improved.

Holy Shroud (Apr 8, the band had driven back from playing Montreal the previous night), Mitch and the Motorhomes (Apr 15, great show marred only by the fact that the Khyber Ballroom has no ventilation and the room was approximately 150 degrees), Sharp Like Knives (Apr 25, NSCAD Grad Party, hope the pics will be a suitable consolation to anyone who didn't get to see Messrs. Paul and Michael on stage together...) i kid! ;)

change

the news of the last week or so:

i have been assigned my own team at work, which is another step up the ladder for me. i anticipate being watched fairly closely by management given some of the difficulties i ran into previously, and one of my team members is already trying to drive me crazy, but overall this is a positive development. one downside is that my shifts have changed back to nights, which puts a crimp in my ability to socialize.

another positive development is the arrival today of divorce paperwork from Fredericton. since i've already moved on emotionally speaking, and have no interest in reconciliation, it will be good to put this all behind me. i'm hoping that everything will be finished by the end of May.
